Privacy policy
Effective 1 November 2026
Good Game: Football is an app for reading football numbers. It needs an account so it can keep your own things — your club, your watchlist, your notes — and it collects nothing else. There is no advertising, no tracking across other apps or websites, and nothing is sold.
What we collect
- Email address
- To make your account and sign you in. We use it to reach you about your account, never for marketing unless you ask.
- Password
- Stored only as a one-way hash by our authentication service; we cannot read it.
- What you add
- Your watchlist, notes, alerts, line-ups and entries in the app's free contests. They are linked to your account so they follow you between devices.
What stays on your device
- Your sign-in session, kept in the device's Keychain.
- Settings such as your club, the TV delay and recent searches, kept in the app's own storage.
- Questions you type into Ask are answered on the device; they are not sent to us.
What we do not collect
- No location, contacts, photos, health or financial data.
- No advertising identifier, no analytics or crash-reporting services from other companies.
- No tracking: we do not link your data with data from other companies for advertising, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Who processes it
- Supabase hosts our database and sign-in, in the United States (AWS us-east-1). Data travels to it over HTTPS.
- Apple handles any purchase through the App Store. We never see your payment details.
- Sleeper: if you choose to import a fantasy roster, the app reads it from Sleeper's public API by the user name you type. We ask for no Sleeper password and keep no Sleeper session.
- Radio calls open the station's own page or stream; that station's own privacy policy applies there.
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your account record and everything linked to it are deleted.
Deleting your account
In the app: open Account (the GG button), then Delete account. It removes your account and every row it owned, at once. You can also email support@gg.football from the address on the account and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, wherever you live. Write to support@gg.football; we answer within 30 days.
Children
The app is rated 13+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them; if you believe a child has made an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. A change that affects how we use data you have already given us will be shown in the app first.
